Desmond Kaleolani Alexander from Lahaina, Maui. He has been tattooing for 12 years but fell in love with art from a young age. He has worked under amazing mentor such as Boze Kapoi(Pride Ink) & Tommy Tingle(Mid Pacific Tattoo) before achieving a long time goal of opening his own tattoo shop 3 years ago. SACRED TIES TATTOO is currently located in The Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center on the Island of Maui, Hawai’i. Desmond’s goal when opening up Sacred Ties was to create a shop where he could share his artwork as well as his custom apparel which was a passion of his before tattooing. He specializes in Contemporary Polynesian tattoos but also loves lettering and black & gray work.
